I spoke with Microsoft's Games for Windows manager
Chris Donohue about Windows Vista earlier this week in a bit of a surprise interview.
I went to a Vista event on Tuesday, got a demo of the new operating system and heard how it would making gaming a "first class citizen" for Windows. But then I started asking questions about
Alex St. John's
Gamasutra attack on Vista. And the PR folks said: maybe you should talk to Chris.
So we talked about whether Vista will really chill creativity among small PC developers. We also talked about
Hideo Kojima's
recent comments about wanting to make PC games. And some other stuff.
It's all in
my article at MTVNews.com.
