Did you know I could talk for a long time about video games? Did you know I could yammer on for an hour and a half or that anyone would ever want me to do that? Not long ago I interviewed Phil Harrison for an hour and six minutes. The man's got knowledge to make it worth it. Ah, but Phil Harrison, Joystiq wanted to talk to me for an hour and thirty. Then again Phil's busier. And I sat for the interview during President's Day, which was a holiday for me and not one for an Englishman PS3 executive.

So the point of this is that Joystiq interviewed me for their second podcast on Monday. And I tried to tell them witty stories and make clever points. Some say I succeeded. But so far, those "some" have been my friends.

So check that link, load the podcast into your preferred MP3 device and give it a listen. They've got me talking about Chris Taylor wetting himself, the things I'm beginning to get skeptical about in "Spore", my take on the Alex Ward beat-it flap, why my gaming shelf is a great thing, how EVERY game seems to be political these days, the likelihood that Nintendo's Reggie Fils-Aime was pulling a Bill Clinton instead of a George Bush Sr. about Metroid Prime 3's release date.... what else?... you'll be able to find out whether a roomful of game designers prefers Yoga to unions. I get the Joystiq guys to embarrass themselves with their knowledge of the Care Bears. I could go on and on. But I already did, on President's Day.

So take that, 1UpYours. You're not the only ones who can run out the clock.
