Up is down.

Black is white.

And I am promo-ing a an MTV Multiplayer item I wrote the day before the last one I already blogged about below. What was so great about the entry on the 27th that I tell it to you even after blogging about the one from the 28th?

The gaming world needs more talk about game cameras. And even more than that, the game world needs to recognize that gamers are being asked to do too much!

So thank you "God of War II" for proving that the precious energy in my fingers has been wasted maneuvering cameras in video games. I didn't sign up for that.

From my entry:

When I jump into a game, I want to take on a role. I'm being an actor. In some games, like "The Sims" or "Nintendogs," I'm being a director. That's all good. But, really, I've never asked to be the cameraman. I'm grateful that "God of War II" proves I shouldn't have to be. That's some next-gen thinking as far as I'm concerned -- even if the game is "just" on a PS2.

So hit the link above, and then scroll past that thing I wrote on "MLB 07: The Show" (which is just a sports game anyway). You may notice it seems like Multiplayer is having a Sony-games-and-their-cameras theme week. Trust me, that wasn't intentional. It's not exactly a concept that draws big numbers if advertised as such.

(If you're reading this entry after the week I posted it, you'll have to flip through the multiplayer.mtv.com site back to the Feb 27 entry)
