me@MTV: That "GTA IV" trailer and one conspicuous omission (I think)

Catching up part 4.... Like the rest of the media world, I wrote a story Thursday night about the "Grand Theft Auto IV" trailer. I'm glad to see that the transition to more detailed graphics doesn't look like it will cost the series it's slightly cartoonish look, which helped fuel a satirical creative drive.
Am I missing something or are there no shots of the downtown part of Liberty City's Manhattan-inspired skyline. We see shots of the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, the Statue of Liberty, the MetLife building, the Flatiron, several famous bridges and Times Square (including the MTV building, no less). But somehow the camera never pointed in the direction the Twin Towers once stood. Plenty of reasons why that could be, but something to consider.
The main storyline of "GTA: San Andreas" ended amidst a re-creation of the Rodney King riots, but, surely, "GTA IV" wouldn't go .... there? I highly doubt it. I can't imagine it would ever get approved by Sony, Microsoft and the ESRB.
Or would the buildings have appeared in the parts of the trailer shot from the Brooklyn side of the Brooklyn Bridge?
(Sorry for the SPOILER, but I think the statue of limitations is up on that one, especially because I didn't really give any life-or-death matters away)
That's catching up part 4.
