Who do the folks at Rockstar Games really hate? Could it be my cousins? My grandma? Members of my family have lived in New York City's least-celebrated borough, Staten Island, for years. I haven't asked them or SI's own Wu-Tang clan feel about not having their island recreated in the next in the next "Grand Theft Auto." New York City's other four boroughs -- Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and The Bronx -- will be re-created as parts of Liberty City for Rockstar's October crime epic, but "Game Informer"'s report on "GTA IV" indicates that Shaolin (as it's known by Wu-disciples) will be left out.
A pity we won't get a mission with protagonist Niko Bellic running across the Fresh Kills dump or starting the New York City marathon on Staten Island's end of the Verrazano Bridge or.... OK, I can't think of anything else you would want a "GTA" do in Staten Island. Visit my grandma? She moved out of that place a couple of years ago.
