ST Exclusive: The Week in Respect III (Undeserved Respect Edition)

Things were simpler back in the day. And by back in the day I mean three weeks ago. Even just two weeks ago. Back in those days, I wrote an article for the blog here or for MTV News and the respect just rolled on in.
Then came last week. That's when I started getting respect for stuff I didn't write. Let the record state that MTV News producer Bernard Lumpkin is the main man behind our well-received TV and online pieces we just did on gay gamers. All I did was interview Peter Molyneux for the print piece and play "Bully" well enough to get the main boy to kiss other boys.
So, this week I am using the Week in Respect to apologize for any undeserved respect I have received for the piece. That means you, you fine folks at NeoGAF. I sadly cannot accept the following accolade:
"Still good to see this topic covered with some degree of sensitivity. Stephen Totilo is my hero and I want to give him man kisses. (no homo)"
Now if only I got that kind of qualified praise for my articles on my gaming-while-jogging articles. Or something.
At least I've learned a phrase I can rhyme with "pro bono" when next I write a sonnet or limerick.
