MTV Multiplayer: Impressions of "Uncharted" and "Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice" -- you all need to try the second one. [alternate, collector's edition headline: Is 2007 The Year of the Super-Cop?]

On Wednesday I wrote a piece for MTV that shared some of the non-Sony gaming talk that gaming reporters were making during the Sony event. (I also explained my unsettling discovery of Pokemon massage).
But who cares about that idle chatter? I'm told people want to read about games!
Okay. Then read what I wrote about the upcoming 2007 games "Uncharted" for PS3 and "Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice" for PSP. I played both games at the Sony thing, and I seem to be one of the only people who gave "Pursuit Force" much time. Bad mistake, everyone else.
Give the piece and read about why I'm more excited for a little PSP sequel than I am for Naughty Dog's impressive PS3 adventure game.
Here's a taste of the action, from a level in which your super-cop hero and his partner have to hi-jack a runaway military tank. Bear in mind that at this point the two heroes are racing down a highway after the tank at breakneck speeds:
After setting their bombs, my game's power couple split up and phase three of the chase began. I jumped my hero onto the back of the tank, which was covered in hatches, out of which popped men eager to use their machine guns. I had to fire back. The tank was still driving at top speed, sometimes leaving my guy hanging on precariously by one hand. The tank driver kept spinning its turret, trying to use the barrel to knock me off.
Do I make it? Do I seize the tank? Oh the drama. (No I don't)
I hope they get a mission in there where you jump on a truck but then get dragged under it and have to climb up from the other side, like in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
So is it the Year Of the Super-Cop or something? Why am I having the most fun with games like "Pursuit Force" and "Crackdown"?
