I saw "Pain" for the first time at Sony Gamer's Day. It's "Burnout" Crash Mode with people. It's Jackass turned into a downloadable game. It's a game all about launching virtual people into a calamitous path of destruction via a giant slingshot.

It's also the kind of thing some people probably see when they close their eyes and think about their boss, or their least favorite celebrities or I don't even want to know who else.

So I asked Sony's San Diego studio director Scott Rohde what "Pain" players might be able to throw.

-Sony executives?

-PlayStation 3's?

-Certain famous heiresses?

In the course of answering he explained exactly how he'd ask Paris Hilton to sign up for the role of human ammunition.

Click and read at the link above. The story has some video of the game in action too!
