Today is the first day of my vacation. And I’ve started it by bringing this site back to life. Until further notice, it’s the new home of my Game Diary, which formerly lived at MTV Multiplayer.

I’ll improve the layout at some point. But let’s start stimply for now, ok?

  1. OK.

BUT! Be sure to add the “Subscribe to comments” plugin using the admin Dashboard.. it will help in keeping the conversations alive. (Just FYI) It basically sends an email to the people who ever commented, when there’s a new comment.

Also.. I can comment in an article written by Stephen Totilo, with LINE BREAKS? :O with no HTML Tags? :O Madness!

  2. And remember to get the Askimet Spam Catcher working, get your API key from as you have ‘christian debt’ spam in your other post >.<

  4. Awesome :) Have you thought much about what you want to integrate. Drop us a line over at OLC if you want some random wordpress suggestions! Had to really mess with some plugins there lol

  5. Yes, its working now :D The other one is supposed to be more secure.. but, I guess its not a must.

I see you’ve even put moderation for the comments now, was worried thinking my looong comments were gone :P

Later, if you wanted to get your URL structure done nicely you can go to settings and then see “permalink” section to set how the link to a blog post to be..
like, should it contain the title/date in the link etc etc. There are many options out there, when you are free, just keep checking.

    Happy Housekeeping!

  6. @Reeteshinator, So Akismet thinks your comments are spam! Sorry. I’ve rescued them.

I tried fixing the permalink structure on Monday, but when I changed it to the format that you and I prefer, it broke every link on this site. I wasn’t sure if it was a database issue and that I had to wait some time. But I got concerned and swiftly switched it back. I’ll try it again some time, but I don’t understand why, given that nothing else is held back by caching issues on this site, the permalink change would have been.

  7. Did you put some custom field or the year/month/day/post thing (which I am guessing you meant :P ) by selecting the option? If you entered the custom field there is a chance there might have been some kind of input error (it doesnt report a syntax error).

    Do try again!

Ah! I thought you selected “Approve every comment before showing” in the discussion settings, all is ok now :D

  8. Your own concept that sleep apnea leads to gout Should be accurate! I have had tophi (urate very bone fragments spurs) during my heels and great foot important joints since I would be a teen! Why? We hiked and jogged-in excellent pain, I was not a enthusiast, nor an excellent beef eater, never overweight-but I’d large tonsils as well as an misaligned jaw, which I later learned triggered me to have an obstructed airway that managed to get difficult to get adequate air whilst sleeping-until I’d awaken, gasping for atmosphere, A recent rest study stated I’d “mild apnea”-but my feet are so arthritis I will right now barely walk, and that i presently are afflicted by a stress break in one foot which by no means enhanced after surgery, It requires a joint alternative now, We need to be superior knowledgeable prior to it being past too far, No wonder I’ve had heightened blood pressure and other issues, I want to find out more in your book, I’m athletic however unhappy because absolutely no physician offers correctly identified the relationship and treated me appropriately, I am thankful you published your findings.
